Sounds like a V8, still drives | These headers are sick. They make the exhaust sound a lot cleaner, I had a high flow cat with borla catback and stock headers and it definitely was a much worthwhile upgrade. I felt the increase in power finally freeing up my full exhaust flow and they sound nasty. People are scared of my car now, def sounds like a V8 but I like it with the lightweight flywheel, underdrive pulley, intake and now full exhaust. Really frees up the exhaust flow and a much worthwhile upgrade, my old headers rusted and this was the best upgrade so far that was done to my car. |

This Just In: Polite Exhaust N | Mrs. Foer Banger of suburbia Haun DaVille was one of many victims caught off guard Sunday July 1, 2007 at 2:33pm when an alleged 3000GT suddenly came torrenting down her side street. A quiver in her voice as she peered restlessly from behind the comfort of her garage window, she told press members "It..It was so loud! T..The throttly response, the revving my goodness, the revving! It was so much quicker, what else could I do but..?" That was when Mrs. Banger started to cry. 15 such sightings were reported, authorities said, within the same hour word that a NA 3000GT, no different than any other, suddenly decided to let the tarmac have it in a most boisterous, improper manner. According to victims, the glacier pearl 3000GT would stir up from behind their rear view mirrors, challenging and violently revving the engine AT WILL and without ANY mercy! Mrs. Banger was very lucky that day. The only one wise enough not to instigate the white 3000GT, reports told all 15 of the other said victims lost miserably during acceleration and top end when confirming the rambunctious Mitsubishi. During an interview with officer Ray Strikted Breathing, he spoke with our press authority saying, "This menace to our bone stock society is no other than Vanna! My men have confirmed she went to 3sx.com where she found, (now respirating uneasily) excuse me, where she acquired racing headers. It is my sad duty to report that, well, with her new long racing headers, combined with the Borla cat-back exhaust, and her lightened flywheel and new 6-puck clutch, we are no match to her newly gained torque. I know, I know, but you have to understand, this Vanna, she's not restricted no more. I'm telling you all as my witness, you can't match the throttle response of this car." Further press resources add that many more 3000GTs are feared to be upgrading to this newer, menacing horsepower. Until then, all we can do is fart around in our weak, factory-given muffler systems and just hope the 3000GT with the long racing headers passes us by. |

Great fit and added performanc | I really have come to appreciate 3SX and the parts they provide to their clients. The long headers and catalytic converter kit fit extremely well and they had all the gaskets available to make it a one stop shopping experience. The added performance was greatly appreciated, and it was really noticeable in 1st gear and at RPM's over 4 grand. It was also a lot quieter than I would have expected. I waited a long time for an exhaust solution for my 91 Stealth ES and 3SX made it possible. Thanks!!! |

great sound | a great addition to a work in progress. The sound rivals those of a true american muscle car. install is a large pain for the front. if ussing header wrap pipe will need dimpleing to reinstall the halfshaft. |

Amazing sound and performance | Its the first mod I've done to my car so far. I couldn't be more happier with my purchase. Sounds more deep and aggressive, close as you can get to a V8 sound. Performance wise I can't complain either, gave my 98 3kgt SL alot more pull and power, I can definitly feel a difference. I bought them with the race pipe instead of the high flow cat and its alot quieter than I expected, except when you hit the gas,and isn't loud at all while driving normal. Was not an easy job to intsall and it took a whole day, luckily welding the bungs on went well. Check Engine light is on though and I did put in the dual O2 sensors to remedy it but it didnt work so still trying to fix that. Overall great buy and good customer service, Thanks 3sx! |
