This is the factory OEM Mitsubishi hanger bracket that supports the driver's side front half shaft between the transmission and the outer wheel hub assembly.  The solid inner shaft passes through this hanger, and it is attached directly to the block. It is unusual for the bracket itself to wear or get damaged since it is a chunk of solid iron, but it may be needed for those doing transmission swaps.

The bolts and washers needed to mount it to the block are listed separately (not included with the bracket) and sold individually - you need Qty 2 of each to mount the bracket.

Note that the hanger INCLUDES the bearing and seals that are also available separately here.

Note that the AWD and FWD Automatics are actually the same bracket - listed separately to avoid confusion ;-)

91-92 FWD are stamped "815" and are 25mm

91-99 AWD are stamped "153" and are 27mm

93-99 FWD are stamped "815" and are 27mm, and ~8mm Longer

91-99 ATX are stamped "153" and are 25mm

The AWD + FWD ATX hanger bracket is no longer available new.  We have pre-owned brackets and will be providing a brand new bearing kit.
