OEM Oxygen O2 Sensors - 3000GT/Stealth

These are factory original O2 sensors for the 3000GT/Stealth. Models and years are broken down based on the Mitsubishi parts catalog.

If you are upgrading your downpipe or headers, you should consider changing your O2 sensors. They are in fact a wear item and can lose their accuracy over time, resulting in lower gas mileage and inefficient engine operation.

Twin Turbo: The Twin Turbo options are pretty straight forward breaking on year ranges. The primary ones are the ones just after the turbos BEFORE the pre-cats - on 91-93 models they are the ONLY ones. The secondary sensors are the ones AFTER the pre-cats - some 94-95 have them, all 96+ have them.

DOHC Non-Turbo: The non-turbos from 91-93 only had one sensor and were labeled "Federal-Spec". These Fed-spec cars with only one O2 sensor were also available through 95. Some 94-95 and all 96+ models were "California-Spec" and had 4 O2 sensors surrounding 2 pre-cats (similar to the TT cars). On these Cali-spec cars, the primary sensors are the ones prior to the pre-cats, and the secondary sensors are located after the pre-cats.

SOHC Non-Turbo: The SOHC engine was only available in the 3000GT from 97-99 model years. Unfortunately we are unable to exactly cross-reference the sensors for the 91-96 SOHC Stealths (so we only assume they would probably match the earlier DOHC engines with respect ot Fed- or Cali-spec). The very early SOHC 3000GTs (literally the first few days of production 96.05.1 for model year 97) list different part numbers from the remainder of the 97 model year and on through 99. Please pay close attention to which sensor you are ordering.
