Mitsubishi Oil Pump - OEM Factory Original

If you are doing anything with the crank (rebuilding motor, installing new or reman crank, new bearings, etc.), it is recommended that you install a new oil pump. These are factory new oil pumps from Mitsubishi.

If you purchase an oil pump and bolt it to the engine IT IS YOURS.
3SX will NOT accept returns on oil pumps that have been bolted to the engine - it does not matter if you have run the engine or not - once it is bolted to the block, we can not sell it as new and we will not accept it as a return. You can use ebay or one of the owners forums for selling used parts.

Mitsubishi Oil Pump Gaskets

The factory oil pumps do not come with the gaskets, so if you are not getting a complete engine gasket kit, you will need to get these gaskets. They are the gasket between the pump and block (bottom), between pump and filter housing (top/left), and the pump and pickup tube (top/right). DOHC is pictured but they are available for the DOHC TT and NA and SOHC engines.

Oil Pump Alignment Dowel Pins 3S

When building your motor you may need new alignment dowel pins for your oil pump. These are factory new ones. There are 2 that go in the block to align the oil pump.

Same for 91-99 all models. Sold individually.


Engine Oil Strainer Pickup - All DOHC 3000GT/Stealth

We do recommend replacing this part with ANY engine build, especially if it was "catastrophic failure" like spun bearings or blown pistons or rings as those bits of metal can get caught in the strainer and then flushed into your *fresh* engine.... Which is bad. Very bad... Best way to prevent this from happening is to replace it with a new one!

NOTE: Before reinstalling your oil-pan, make sure the little "bowl" at the bottom is rounded DOWN/OUT away from the engine. If this is dented up it can severly inhibit the flow of oil into the strainer, and even with a NEW strainer, the engine, turbos, or other oiled parts can fail due to oil starvation.

These will work on all DOHC 3000GT and Stealth engines.
It will NOT work for the SOHC engine.

The gasket is listed and sold separately.
