Roll Cages - 3000GT/Stealth

For the high powered cars that either rocket down the strip or race around the courses, a roll cage eventually becomes a requirement by rules and regulations. We offer 4 different cages in 8-point and 10-point configurations made from either steel or chrome-moly. The advantage of the chrome-moly is the weight advantage - it is significantly lighter than the steel. The 8-point cages weigh about 93 pounds for the steel and 62 for the chrome-moly, while the 10-point cages weigh 139 for the steel and 91 for the chrome-moly! The 8-point cages are 1-3/4" diameter by .134" wall and the 10-point cages are 1-5/8" by .134" wall. These weld-in kits include the main hoop, frame supports, seat crossmember, and 6 steel mounting plates, and meet or exceed NHRA and IHRA requirements when properly installed. The 10-point adds the roof tube and windshield bars.
NOTE: These should be installed by a qualified professional with welding and roll cage experience.

The Chromoly kits are made with 4130 chromoly and should be tig welded with 70s2 wire.
