Being an all-wheel-drive car, the twin turbo 3S has rear half-shafts. These are the factory original Mitsubishi inner halfshafts that go between the rear differential and the trailing arm and outer halfshaft - in NEW condition. We do offer just the CV boots separately here but if you need the whole inner halfshaft, you can still get them.

We also offer the OEM bolts/nuts/washers that are used to connect the inner and outer halfshaft - there are 4 of each per side, 8 total for both shafts.

The OEM Rear Half-Shaft - The Full Story...

So we've learned a thing or two about the rear halfshafts... First thing is you can NOT get the WHOLE inner half-shaft as a complete assembly like pictured above and as they come out of the car (unbolt the 4 bolts that connect it to the outer shaft and pop it out of the differential). You have to buy the inner shaft with flange set, which includes the actual shaft and the outer joint with the 4-bolt flange and boot set. Then you have the separately purchase the inner joint and boot set, which is the splined end that goes into the rear differential, so we jokingly called it the "quarter shaft". Then YOU have the assemble them to make a single inner half shaft assembly.

That being said, depending on what you need to replace dictates your options available. The actual shaft kit is available NEW. The inner joint going into the diff is only available NEW for the left/driver side. And we have a limited number of inner halfshafts available USED as mentioned that come as complete assembled put-them-in-and-go inner halfshafts.
