OEM Upper Strut Insulators / Mounts / Seats / Pads
3000GT & Stealth
Another potential problem point in the suspension is the upper spring insulators. These are the upper seats that hold the springs, and on the front, offer the actual pivoting bearing that allows the front struts to turn with the steering. When these wear out, they can result in an intermittent clunk that is sometimes tricky to diagnose.
