This is a BOV that is a direct replacement for the factory bypass valve. It has a higher spring tension to operate at higher boost levels, yet maintain the stock bypass/recirculating setup of the factory valve. Plus it has an OEM look to it - ideal if you are going for the "sleeper install" look under the hood.
