Stock Replacement Transfer Case Input Spool
for AWD 3000GT & Stealth

This is an aftermarket replacement NEW transfer case input spool for your 18-spline or 25-spline Getrag gearbox - it is in the transfer case and receives the transmission output shaft to drive the rear wheels. It's not uncommon for the teeth/splines on the end of the output shaft from the transmission of the teeth/splines on the inside of the transfer c ase spool to strip, yielding no power to the rear wheels, and essentially crippling the car into an undriveable state. :(

Left = 18-spline SMALL Bearing 5-speed
Middle/Left = 18-spline BIG Bearing 5-speed
Middle/Right = 25-spline 5-speed
Right = 25-spline 6-speed

SMALL Bearing = ~ 35mm OD BIG Bearing = ~40mm OD

If you are replacing your transfer case spool, there are several other parts that you may need to complete the job. It is likely you will need new seals at a minimum, so we offer the Transfer Case Seal Kit that is complete and LESS than only the input+output seals separately. We also offer the Transfer Case Bearings listed separately. And if you doing a full overhaul, you may need the Transfer Case Crush Sleeve that is on the output shaft to the main driveshaft as well. Consult your rebuilder to confirm if any additional parts are needed.

Input Spool PLUG

The new spools do NOT have the plug that goes in the end opposite of the splined end, so you will need a new plug as well. We offer these individually and separately from the spool.

NOTE: If you are far enough into your transfer case to need a new spool, you are probably going to need new bearings and the seal kit to go with it....  Why not just get a REMANUFACTURED TRANSFER CASE? If ANY more by the time you get done buying parts and paying someone to rebuild it!!
