This is the front output shaft, also called the pinion shaft. The rear output shaft goes through this, and this drives the main front differential.

There are 3 different ones in the US market TT/VR4 for the 5-speed 18-spline, 5-speed 25-spline, and 6-speed. We have a single unit of a 4th version that does not match any of the other three. Dimensions are included should it match yours, but since there are no markings on it, we have no idea the actual application - we think it could either be from a JDM GTO gearset or perhaps the AWD DSM.

NOTE: When ordering replacement bearings, referring to the top picture above, the splined end of the shaft is the "end case side" and the geared end of the shaft is the "bell housing side". That being said, the VR4/TT use the same bearing on both ends of the pinion shaft for all years/models.

These are used OEM Mitsubishi / Getrag parts.

All of our used transmission parts have been thoroughly inspected and in such a state as we would use them in a transmission build in-house.
